The household split system consists of two parts - a compressor and an indoor unit. There is a container with cooling gas freon in the compressor. Circulating through copper tubes, freon cools the air that is supplied to the indoor unit. The peculiarity of the split system is that it is able not only to cool, but also to serve as a heater.
